KYLIE HOLLAND
Executive Assitant

I joined the Open Minds family in September 2021 with over twelve years of experience teaching infants through school age children. I hold a Masters of Education in Leadership and Management from Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts as well as a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Development and Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I have a strong passion for retaining staff in early childhood education as well as building quality relationships with children and their families. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, playing/watching basketball, and trying out new restaurants. I enjoy bringing my son, Theodore, to Open Minds with me daily by watching him thrive in such a loving and family focused educational environment. I am looking forward to continuing to grow as a leader and learn new skills at Open Minds Child Development Center.

The job of an educator is to teach students to see vitality in themselves

ERIYONNA MORENO
Program Director - Olathe

I am originally from Lees Summit Missouri but have lived in many places from california, to oklahoma. I have obtained my CDA certificate, and a directors license, but am currently working towards my bachelors in early childhood.. I have worked in early childhood education for over 8 years starting out as an assistant teacher working my way up to a director. I choose to take on this role to help build up teachers in confidence and boldness. Outside of work I am your average outdoorsy girl who enjoys spending time with my husband, and 3 year old daughter. My family is big in sports and love the KC Chiefs! Since becoming a parent I have learned to see the beauty in change and new ideas. I believe Open Minds is a perfect fit, because their philosophy is just that. I am excited to grow and learn from my co-director, and leaders.

TAYLOR SEIDEL
Hiring Director

I am originally from Reading, Pennsylvania and I have a degree in Social Work, but I plan to work towards a degree in early childhood education as well. I have been with Open Minds for 3 year and have had the privilege to work at all three locations. I started as the lead teacher of the ones (1) classroom, and absolutely fell in love with my students. I recently moved to Kansas City, MO with my boyfriend of 9 years and now fiancé. We do not have any human children but we do have a fur baby - a pitbull named, Tuna - who we do everything with! We all enjoy going on hikes, walking to coffee shops every weekend, going to the lake and taking road trips. I enjoy reading and watching my sports teams; The Phillies, Sixers, Flyers, and Penn State!

A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning.
