Open Minds CDC mission is to create a quality, progressive and nurturing early childhood experience. Our educators foster intentional playbased, open-ended experiences that encourage individual growth and celebrates diversity in all aspects. As an Ecosystem - learning from each other & growing together - we will leave the world better than we found it.

Philosophy

This program is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children. It provides experiences that enrich and enhance each child’s cognitive, social, emotional, language, physical and creative development. Within the program’s daily schedule, each child will have the opportunity to create, explore, problem solve, and learn social skills and academic concepts through first hand experiences. Children will develop a positive self-image and a lifetime love of learning through independent opportunities and teacher-directed activities. Teachers serve as researchers that learn each child’s interest and needs, to teach accordingly. They model behaviors that children can mimic and exhibit positively. We respect parents as the primary and most important provider of care, and we believe that parents and teachers are partners in providing a warm, supportive, and nurturing environment in which a child can grow.
